DROPFELLAS

Dropfellas is an Italian electronic duo from Turin, Italy, rooted in dubstep and bass music culture.

The project was born in East London in 2008, where the two artists became immersed in the UK underground scene, regularly attending the seminal FWD>> nights at Plastic People and absorbing the city's strong soundsystem heritage. During this period, Dropfellas began producing together and quickly became active as promoters and resident DJs of the Dark Side of London nights, establishing themselves within the local underground circuit.

In their early years, they shared the bill with key figures of the scene such as Distance, Hatcha, Kromestar and performed multiple times at Outlook Festival in Croatia.

Between 2009 and 2011, Dropfellas released music on No.Mad Records, Walkboy and Quantum Bit, shaping a sound defined by heavy basslines, dark atmospheres and a strong dancefloor focus. After a long hiatus away from the scene, the duo return in 2026 with a 4-Track EP of deep sub-bass and spacious, forward-looking UK bass grooves on UK label FatKidOnFire (FKOF) — a global authority on 140bpm and dubstep culture.
